THE HONOR SYSTEM!
Lets work together!!
LETS MAKE A LOT OF MONEY TOGETHER!!!
ITS EASY IF YOU FOLLOW THE RULES AND ARE HONEST. THIS SYSTEM IS ALL ABOUT THE HONOR SYSTEM. JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS AND YOU AND I CAN MAKE A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY!!! And its all perfectly legal. This system is even supported by The Oprah show, by 20/20, and even by Pay PAL.
Follow these steps so that you and I can make some money together:
1) Send one dollar by way of pay pal (pay pal only requires and email address to be able to send money, its really quiet simple) to each of the 6 people on the list bellow.
(note: you must have a premier or business pay pal account to receive payments)
2) Now that you have done that you can put your name on the list. (Copy/Paste this entire message to word or note pad, so that you can edit this message.) Take the top name off the list and Move the other 5 names up, 2 becomes 1, 3 becomes 2, 4 becomes 3, 5 becomes 4, 6 becomes 5, and then you put your name at the bottom in the 6 spot.
3) Now copy/paste this entire message, and post it to as many blogs, news groups email address's as possible.

This is Josh Matthai's mother. On Feb. 28th, 2000 we ALL lost one wonderful person, my son "Josh". I called him "my son with the heart". He would help anyone, and always had a warming smile on his face. My life changed forever on that day, everyday is a struggle.....I MISS HIM SO MUCH.

First I want to say thanks for all the feedback from all of the 'Anonymous' posters. While the 'appreciation' is appreciated, your feedback would have been helpful yesterday.
And as far as this 'reserve fund' - I believe that is a myth as we've tried to track down that money and Senior Class Council, kids of parents' who planned the senior party, etc were on the original e-mail lists and no one stepped forward saying that indeed they have the money. So, we were starting with $0!
With that said, we have tried to keep the cost down and from everything I have heard from other reunions $50 per person is very reasonable. This will include facility rental, caterers, heavy appetizers, beer and wine. As we were starting with $0 - all of this money will be fronted by individuals planning the reunion – so we had to set the per person cost at something deemed to be affordable by everyone involved in the conversation and attempt to recoup funds for the people fronting the money. Do not worry, if costs are below what we have collected (I can provide you a budget if you are that interested and want to give me your e-mail address) we will ensure that the funds are carried over for the next reunion. Unlike what is rumored to have happened with the senior party funds.

The 10 year was so much fun.
Aside from all the "poor planning" I think all that attended had a great time. THE CD WITH HITS FROM 92-96 IS AWESOME!!!!
The before and after parties were the real fun.
Is there going to be any kind of list with everyones new contact information sent out so that we do not miss anyone for the 20 year?
Does anyone have suggestions on how to make the next one go more smoothly?
What should we do before hand so that we are more prepared?

I know this will sound negative, but this has to be one of the worst planned reunions. It looks like they are still looking for help with bartending, catering, DJ, dancing and decorations. What else is there? oh yeah, the invitations, of which I never got one. And neither did most people I know. I like how the missing persons page has 2 people on it. Despite the fact that several people I know were never informed of this. Oh well, at least the "COOL" people will be there. You're wondering why there is such a low RSVP list, it's because you didn't invite people. People don't feel invited without an invitation. At least do an e-vite. Just so you know many people are boycotting this because of the lack of an invitation, which is really just sad.

I just want to say I appreciate all the people who are working to put this together. I do have a concern about the high cost, so I was wondering if someone could help explain that? I just spoke with someone from the class of '95 who said their reunion was $85 a couple, which was held at the posh Salish Lodge, including dinner. If we were to get 100 people from our class to come, plus dates, that would be a minimum of $10,000. Plus I heard we had a reserve fund with money left over from high school that we could use. Is this really costing this much? Thanks!

I think there might have been a disconnect. I spoke w/ a couple others from '95, and I think it was $85 a person...plus we have wine and beer included too.

hey anonymous guy - i made an evite for you so you can feel invited. i didn't really get how it would be any different than clicking the thing that says "email this page" on THIS website to your friends..but i get it now - you need something that says "Hey man, you're INVITED"... so here it is.. to ANYONE and EVERYONE who needs it:

it doesn't have any names on it, because since you left your name anonymous, i couldn't formally invite YOU specifically, but it's as good as it's going to get.
and other anonymous guy - food and facility rentals alone can cost from $7K-$10K (i'm planning my super informal wedding for 75 people and that was the quote i got on food and utensils alone.. NOT even the facility... not EVEN silverware!)... and these guys didn't even have a headcount or a starting budget.. so cut them some slack! i doubt anyone, including YOU, would be willing to plan a so-called "posh" event AND PAY for it without knowing you were going to get your money back.
to the mikes and nick - thanks for stepping up and organizing this thing. :) not sure i'll make it but i'll at least buy a ticket to help you guys out with $.

Also you may identify yourself so you are invited and we can tap your database. Good contribution to the concept though. When the beer isn't cold enough let us know like the Wizard of Oz by hiding and shouting. It works.
